BETTENDORF, IA - Crawford Brew Works (CBW) announces its public grand opening. The event is scheduled for 2 pm (until Midnight) Friday, May 11.
CBW will celebrate the opening of the Bettendorf Bike and Brew, along with Healthy Habits Bike Shop.
The site is located in the heart of the city at 3659 Devils Glen Road, just South of Tanglefoot Lane.
The brewery will occupy half of the newly constructed space. The facility will also feature a lower level production area. Crawford Brew Works will offer a number of flagship beers and seasonal options.
The brewery will feature a brewhouse and fermenters manufactured by Crawford Company Brewing Equipment. The brewery will also serve as a show room for Crawford’s equipment, which is manufactured in Rock Island, IL and is 100% Made In The USA. The brewery will have both indoor and outdoor seating and will accommodate groups of various sizes. The brewery also plans to host special events and private functions. Crawford Brew Works will join a Quad City market that features some of the region’s top micro-breweries.
The ownership group of the brewery includes Keith Gerks, Adam Isaacson, Bob Frink, Ian Frink, and Bruce Grell. The business is a separate entity from Crawford Company. Scot Schaar has been named Head Brewer. Marshall Dismer is the General Manager.
Healthy Habits will occupy the other half of the space at the newly constructed building. The bike shop, owned by Grell, will be re-locating into the new space from a current location also on Devils Glen Road. Healthy Habits is a one-stop shop for all things related to bicycles, offering sales, full service, and bike fittings on site.
